Georgia State is a leading research university committed to providing our students with an

affordable education in a stimulating academic environment. We want our students to achieve

their academic, and career goals and do what we can to make it possible.

Did you know that The College of Education and Human Development has over 48,000 alumni worldwide?

Our location provides students with unique opportunities like serving local urban communities through grounded research while providing evidence-based instruction to a diverse student population. We prepare our students to think critically about the most pressing issues facing their fields at home and abroad.

As a student, you can expect to be taught by a faculty of leaders who work with more than 50 community partners in the Atlanta area. You’ll also have the chance to immerse yourself in different cultures through study-abroad opportunities in countries like France and Germany. Are you ready to gain invaluable experience with The College of Education and Human Development?

We don't expect you to have it all figured out, we're here to help you navigate this new chapter of your life. If you're on campus, take advantage of University Career Services where you can get hands-on support, like career counseling and mock interviews. If you're virtual, we offer online resources like College to Career which aims to help students build their career path, and Handshake, a website that helps college students find internships and jobs.

Georgia State transforms the lives of our students, we advance the frontiers of knowledge and shape future leaders. We have curated a welcoming environment for students of all backgrounds and we will continue to promote diversity and inclusion for all. We’ve told you everything you need to know about us and now the decision is yours. The next four years will be both the most important and best years of your life. We’re happy to welcome you to GSU and hope you will make your journey with us. See you in the fall!
