Georgia State is a leading research university committed to providing our students with an

Did you know that the College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college at Georgia State’s Atlanta Campus? It has 26 bachelor's degree programs, 25 master's degree programs, and 14 doctoral programs. 


While our most popular undergraduate majors are Biology, Computer Science, and Psychology. A bachelor's degree from the College of Arts and Sciences may lead you to a career in Marketing, Project Management, or Software Engineering. Some of our alums work at well-known companies like IBM, Home Depot, and General Motors. Your options are limitless and your proximity to these companies is a plus.


Our goal is to open doors for our students and ensure they have the opportunity to engage in research, internships, and career-building experiences. We want you to reach your maximum potential academically and professionally. Welcome to the College of Arts and Sciences!


We don't expect you to have it all figured out, we're here to help you navigate this new chapter of your life. If you're on campus, take advantage of University Career Services where you can get hands-on support, like career counseling and mock interviews. If you're virtual, we offer online resources like College to Career which aims to help students build their career path, and Handshake, a website that helps college students find internships and jobs.
